The 2007 Deadline Date and some important new information has been posted regarding the NCCC Scholarship Program. Please take time to familiarize yourself with these changes. Even if you do not have an Applicant in your family you may be asked to assist another Applicant that you know.

Our NCCC Web Site will not be accessible from 1:00am to 8:00am EST on Sunday, November 19, 2006. The Web Site Officer E-mail Links will also not be functioning during this time period. Mail will not be lost, just delivered after 8:00am EST.
The Host of our Web Site has scheduled this time to perform regular preventive maintenance that is necessary to ensure optimum performance of our Web Site and E-Mail. They will also be performing several important security updates, as well as network and storage upgrades.
**IMPORTANT**When you visit the NCCC Web Site after this time, please remember to do a Refresh if you use a cookie for your visits. It is not a bad idea to always Refresh whenever you visit the NCCC Web Site to insure that you will be viewing the latest updates.

November 1, 2006 ~ There is a new Corvette Coloring Book for Kids as well as Adults available through FCOA. Information about the Book with an Order Form is posted to the FCOA Web Site. There is also New Information and a New Order Form for the Corvette Book for Kids that has always been on the FCOA Web Site. Check it out!!

October 12, 2006 ~ The 2007 Membership Renewal Packets that were mailed out as noted in the October 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 postings below were the packets that the Club Governors use to process the 2007 Dues Renewals for their Club Members. When the VP of Membership receives the Club Renewal information back from the Club Governors, the individual Member Packets are processed and sent out to the individual Members. The 2007 Member Packets should begin being mailed shortly after January 1, 2007.
The Individual Member Packets for each of the Clubs are processed as a Group and mailed out at the same time. Members should watch this page to see when their Club's Packets have been mailed to their Members. That information will be posted here in similar fashion to the Governor 2007 Membership Renewal Packets mailings posted below.

September 25, 2006 ~ This year's Club Voting Ballots were mailed to all NCCC Club Governors on September 24, 2006. Contact Carolyn Montgomery, NCCC Secretary, if your Club's ballot is not received by October 1, 2006. All return Ballots must be Postmarked by October 31, 2006.

The West Ohio Region Web Site is temporarily unavailable due to problems with their Hosting Service. Until the issue has been resolved I have created a Temporary West Ohio Web Page for them with limited information.

April 18, 2006 ~ The Spring 2006 Issue of Blue Bars will be mailed to all NCCC Primary Members beginning April 19, 2006. Contact the RMD of your Region if you do not receive your copy by May 15, 2006.

Our NCCC Web Site will not be accessible from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. (ET) on Sunday, April 2, 2006. The Web Site Officer E-mail Links will also not be functioning during this time period. Mail will not be lost, just delivered after 7:00 a.m. The Host of our Web Site has scheduled this time add to and enhance their existing firewalls and Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) units. The maintenance they'll be performing is essentially a continuation of the maintenance performed on March 12. During the past three weeks, their hardware vendors have provided them with new security upgrades that they feel are important enough to deploy right away, rather than wait until a later maintenance period.

February 17, 2006 ~ ****IMPORTANT NOTICE****
Due to a conflict with the Plaza Hotel and prior use of the Plaza East Ballroom the Governors Meeting scheduled for February 25, 2006 has been moved to the Zurich Ballroom in The Sheraton Chalet. This is where we used to hold the Governors Meetings before moving to the Sheraton Plaza. Times are unchanged and the Hotel has agreed to provide a shuttle if desired & will post signs regarding this change in the appropriate places. Directions will also be provided. Should the need arise, there is covered access between the hotels through the garages. Please help by informing anyone you see that looks lost, dazed, confused, or ready to run for home.

February 15, 2006 ~ Convention Hotel Reservations should NOT be sent to the Convention Treasurer as in the past. Please go to the Convention 2006 Web Site to choose 1 of 3 ways to make your Reservations directly with the Buena Vista Palace.

February 8, 2006 ~ ****IMPORTANT NOTICE****
The K& K Insurance packets have been mailed out to all NCCC Club Governors. K&K has informed Hal Bellamy, NCCC Business Manager, that they inserted an incorrect Insurance Certificate in the mass mailed packets. They caught the error before they were all sent but many were mailed. They will be making another mailing with the correct Certificate.

The insurance is still good but the Certificate they mailed has only one Club listed instead of the National generic designation. When the new Certificates are received by the Club Governors, they are not to be discarded as junk mail.

February 4, 2006 ~ The Winter 2006 Issue of Blue Bars was mailed to all NCCC Primary Members on or about January 30, 2006. Contact the RMD of your Region if you do not receive yours.

For many years now at NCCC Membership renewal time each year NCCC Distribution Manager Rose Schmitt and husband Don have stuffed each new NCCC Membership Packet with all the Goodies that arrive sometimes by Semi. Their basement is base operations and after stuffing all the packets they are toted to the Post Office in big boxes to be mailed off to the NCCC Members everywhere.
The Schmitts are Members of Wisconsin Corvette Club in the Midwest Region.

January 4, 2006 ~ New updates have been posted for the NCCC Sanctioned Event Results Forms and their Instructions. The updates include important changes to include the new Speed Event Classes beginning in 2006. They also include other enhancements to make preparing all Event Results easier!
